About Me
Dr. Catherine L. Kennedy is a fellowship-trained otolaryngologist specializing in otology and neurotology, with a particular focus on hearing preservation and restoration. She provides expert care in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex ear and skull base disorders, including hearing loss, chronic ear disease, vestibular (balance) disorders, tinnitus, facial nerve conditions, and acoustic neuromas/vestibular schwannomas.
Dr. Kennedy earned her medical degree and completed her residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Maryland. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in Otology/Neurotology at the University of Minnesota, where she gained specialized expertise in minimally invasive ear surgery and the latest techniques in skull base surgery.
Her clinical practice focuses on a wide range of conditions, including hearing loss, chronic ear disease, tinnitus, vestibular (balance) disorders, facial nerve disorders, and skull base tumors such as acoustic neuromas/vestibular schwannomas. She offers advanced treatment options, including cochlear implantation and other implantable hearing devices. Dr. Kennedy works closely with audiologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons to provide collaborative, multidisciplinary care for both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Kennedy’s primary research interests include investigating barriers to access in hearing healthcare and exploring opportunities for repurposing existing medications for the prevention of hearing loss. She is passionate about closing gaps in care and advancing innovative strategies to preserve hearing across the lifespan.
Known for her thoughtful, patient-centered care, Dr. Kennedy strives to empower patients through education and personalized treatment plans, helping them achieve the best possible hearing outcomes.

About Me
Dr. Luke Stanisce is an otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. After graduating with honors from the University of Connecticut, he attended medical school at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. He then served as the inaugural resident in a newly accredited Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ. As the first-ever resident, Dr. Stanisce was afforded a unique experience immersed in hands-on clinical training, practice management, institutional leadership, and medical education. Training in a city where 40% of the population lived in poverty, he has particular academic interests in the social determinants of health and the delivery of care for underserved patients.
After completing residency, he underwent an additional year of fellowship training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel – Icahn School of Medicine in New York City, focusing on advanced treatments for head and neck cancers and reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Stanisce specializes in treating benign and malignant disorders of the head and neck, reconstructive surgery in this region, and comprehensive otolaryngology including sinonasal diseases.
