Cooper University Health Care is committed to fostering an academic culture that integrates clinical excellence with intellectual inquiry. As part of the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, our residency program operates within a robust academic framework that supports and encourages scholarly activity at all levels of training.

Residents are expected to complete at least one scholarly project during their residency — and are supported in doing so. Faculty mentors are available across a range of clinical and translational research interests, and residents have access to Cooper's research infrastructure, including biostatistics support and IRB resources.
