At a Glance
The Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program at Cooper University Hospital participates in all aspects of surgical management and participates in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. The program is accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO). It is one year in length and accepts one fellow per year.
The fellow attends weekly multidisciplinary tumor board and participates in a didactic lecture series as well as other conferences. The fellow will also lead journal clubs.
Rotations include Breast Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Screening and Outreach, Imaging, Pathology, Medical Oncology, High Risk and Genetics, Survivorship, Behavioral Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, Palliative Care, and Radiation Oncology. There is also a one week elective and four weeks of protected research time.
