The Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at Cooper University Hospital and the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine is a three-year program fully accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG). The curriculum includes 24 months of clinical training in gynecologic oncology (years one and three) as well as 12 months of research (year two).

Clinical fellows are involved in all aspects of the patient’s care including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, intensive care and end of life care. The research period permits fellows to pursue interests in either laboratory or clinical research with no routine patient responsibilities. Additionally, each fellow is required to complete a medical biostatistics course.
