The 2011/2012 Academic Year marked our twentieth accredited year as a national sponsor of CME.  In July 2012,  Cooper received a six-year Accreditation with Commendation (until July 31, 2018). This is a major accomplishment for The Cooper Health System! Cooper is the only hospital or health system in southern New Jersey with national accreditation, and this is Cooper's second consecutive six-year term. Moreover, only an average of 21% of all national CME providers have achieved Accreditation with Commendation. 

One very important aspect of The Cooper Health System is its teaching mission. We are committed to educating our medical staff; however, our CME program also reaches out to physicians in the tri-state area, nationally, and internationally. With these CME activities, we address the needs of both primary care physicians and specialists.
