Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

This course is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of situations, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. These healthcare providers may include physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMS, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, medical or nursing assistants, and other allied health personnel. This course is also designed for anyone who is required to take a healthcare provider course for employment.

COST: $65 (Course is free to Cooper employees whose BLS completion card is current the day of the course date.)

Course Materials: Pre-course information will be sent to all participants upon receipt of your completed registration form and verification of course availability. COURSE REGISTRATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE PRE-COURSE INFORMATION. If vou do not receive the information two weeks after submitting your registration form, please contact the Life Support Traininig Center at (856) 342-2009. It is suggested that all participants read the BLS Provider Manual prior to coming to the course. The manual is available for purchase from the LSTC. The BLS for HCP manual is included for paying participants. Also available to help you prepare for this course is The Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) handbook available through the Lfe Support Training Center for an additional fee.

Refund Policy: For Cooper employees, a non-refundable cancellation fee of $35.00 will be charged for those who cancel less than two weeks(14 days) prior to the date of the course. A "no-show" fee of $50.00 will be charged to Cooper employees who do not show for the course. For non-Cooper employees, cancellation for all BLS courses must take place 2 weeks(14 days) prior to the date of the course for a full tuition refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations or transferring to another date within two weeks(14 days) of the course date.
